Fwiw the 22re isnt known to have trouble with the knock sensor wiring not the way the 3vze does unless theres visible damage to the sheath id verify the part too before hacking up the harness im not currently home but i am pretty sure the wiring looks fine but i will check. According to the diagram it appears as though the knock sensor is in the manifold somewhere to the right if you standing in front of the car good luck and if you need help just send me a pm or post and i might be able to send a picture of the pages audios danny note the diagram is actually a pic of the 3vz fe. A replacement knock sensor can cost as much as 160 a generic equivalent can be found on ebay for half that amount the sensors wiring harness is also expensive typically 20 25 and if the connection between the sensor and the wiring harness is bad you really should replace both as its the same amount of work to dig them out
